Green Infrastructure in the City Video Series

???????????????????????????????

We at Clean Air Partnership are big fans of Green Infrastructure, huge fans in fact…

That is why we wanted to give a shout out to the new video series released by the Green Infrastructure Ontario (GIO) Coalition. The three-part “green infrastructure in the city” series covers a range of topics related to living green infrastructure – the multi-scale network of ecological features that can boost the ecological, economic, and human health of our communities.

The videos outline what green infrastructure is and provide examples from around an urban setting. They also explore different examples of green infrastructure, from tree-lined streets, urban parks and gardens, to green technologies such as green roofs and permeable pavement. The videos highlight Ontario’s need for more green infrastructure and encourage everyone to imagine their communities if we invested in green infrastructure like we do in grey.

For more information on what green infrastructure is important and all that it does and can do for us check out the Natural Capital and Why it Matters post.
